Donald George Laflamme Sr., 83, a native of Derry, N.H., and a longtime resident of Gulf Shores, died at his home Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. He was an Army Veteran who served proudly in the Korean War. He leaves behind his loving family, Elizabeth Laflamme, Gulf Shores; daughter, Dorothy Clark, New Ipswich, N.H.; son, Donald Laflamme Jr., South Fla.; daughter, Cathy Romano, Manchester, N.H.; son, Robert Laflamme, Manchester, N.H.; daughter, Carol Chesnick, DeLand, Fla., grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends. An intimate family interment will be this spring at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua, N.H., where his ashes will be placed alongside his deceased wife, Georgina Laflamme.
