Donald Joseph Ignots Sr., 79, of Elberta passed away Dec. 16, 2013.
He served his country and retired from the United States Navy.
He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Elberta.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ignots, an infant son, a daughter, Linette Sims and a brother, John Ignots Jr.
He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Hambric of Jasper, Ala., Iva Rotkowski of Dalton, Pa. and Lisa Taylor of Dripping Springs, Texas; a son, Donald Ignots Jr. of Magnolia Springs; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Dec.21, 2013, at noon, from St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
