Donald Irving Kral, age 75, an a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Silverhill, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012.
Mr. Kral was retired from International Paper after 42 years; an Army Veteran and a Retired Army National Guard Veteran after 42 years of service. He served faithfully in the Robertsdale United Methodist Church and all that knew Mr. Don knew that he was a kind, generous, compassionate, and caring person. Mr. Kral was a devoted husband, son, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents; William Kral Sr. and Elsie Pesek Kral and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joan Sirmon Kral; a brother, William Kral Jr. of Robertsdale, nieces, Carol Mills of Semmes, Lynn Davis of Elsanor, Lisa Richburg of Helena, and Candice Sirmon Esses of New Orleans; nephews, Joey Kral of Daphne, Richard Kral of Decatur, and Christopher Sirmon of Elsanor, and a number of great and great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Robertsdale United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Silverhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Robertsdale United Methodist Church Food Pantry or School Ministry P.O. Box 866 Robertsdale, AL 36567.
