Donald Webster Hill Sr., 75, a native of Belforest and a resident of Fairhope, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at his home after a lengthly illness.
Mr. Hill served in the army and retired after 42 years with the Coca Cola Bottling Co. He loved his family, gardening, yard work, and fishing.
Mr. Hill is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Butgereit Hill; one daughter, Brenda Wildhaber of Semmes; two sons, Donald (Susan) Hill, Jr. and Gregory Hill, both of Fairhope; one sister, Mildred (James) May of Columbus, Ga.; five grandchildren, Josh (Diana) Akil, Angelique Wildhaber, Stephanie, Zachary, and Rebekah Hill; two great-grandchildren, Kalie and Alyiah Akil, along with other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be from Fairhope United Methodist Church, Fairhope, Wednesday, Feb., 15, at 2 p.m.Internment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the building fund at Fairhope United Methodist Church, 155 South Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532.
