Donna D. Gordon, age 64, a native of Mobile, and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Aug. 11, 2012.
Mrs. Gordon received her Masters Degree at the University of South Alabama in English where she specialized in Southern Literature. She enjoyed her cats, reading, and spending time with her family. She worked at Gulf Shores Plantation and was very involved in the tourism industry. She was a fan of the Atlanta Braves. Mrs. Gordon was the perfect wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, James P. Gordon of Gulf Shores; daughter, Noelle Mileski of Fairhope; two sons, William Gordon of Montgomery and Ronnie Anderson of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Ronnie Demotropolis of Foley; granddaughter, Erica Anderson and three grandsons, Brandon Anderson, Adrian Mileski and Henry Molette. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 at 12 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home.
