Doris Juanita Tew, 77, a native of Eufaula and a resident of Daphne, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 at a healthcare facility in Foley.
She lived in Eufaula for many years where she worked as a pharmacy tech at Scarborough Drugs. She loved gardening and growing flowers and was a loving mother and grandmother and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Grover Thomas Tew.
Survivors include a daughter, Anna (Bryan) Ferguson of Daphne; two sons, Stuart Williams of Eufaula and Tom (Paula) Williams of Dowagiac, Mich.; three grandchildren, Caleb Ferguson, Kacey and Kelly Williams; many other relatives and her special friends at Golden Living Alzheimer’s Unit.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at Friendship Presbyterian Church. Inurnment will follow at Rapture City cemetery.
