Doris Mae Stewart, 86, born in Butler County, Ala., and a resident of the Rabun Community died Friday, March 2, 2012, at her residence. She was a seamstress (retired) for 35 years at Vanity Fair. She is survived by two sons, Ransom Kenneth Stewart, Bay Minette, and Bobby Lee Stewart, Stockton; two daughters, Doris Jeanette (Lawrence) Bryant, White House Fork and Norma Stewart Homan, Bay Minette; 10 grandchildren a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, March 5, at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Eloise Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Dean Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 4 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
