Dorothy Ann Lamkin, age 72, a native of Bladenboro, N.C. and resident of Stapleton, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012.
Lamkin was preceded in death by her parents, Doretha Belle Faulk Owens and Grover Cleveland Babson; and children, Deborah Ann Bryant, Susan Annette Bryant, and Clifford Donald Bryant II. She is survived by her husband, Houston Edward Lamkin of Stapleton; daughter, Linda DeFrancisco of Land O Lakes, Fla; son, Houston Dewayne Lamkin of Stapleton; daughter, Kimberly Ann Lamkin of Stapleton; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at Pine Rest Funeral Home, Foley. The funeral service will at 2 p.m. at Pine Rest Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley. Pallbearers will be Randy Bryant, Jimmy Bryant, Ryan DeFrancisco, Mark DeFrancisco, and Davey Lamkin. Arrangements by Pine Rest Funeral Home.
