Dorothy O. Endsley, 85, of Pulaski, N.Y., and a current resident of Lillian, died Monday, April 30, 2012 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Mrs. Endsley was an elementary school teacher for 20 years. She was a member of the Lillian United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Nettie and Dan Ostrander; husband of 58 years, Frederick Endsley; sister, Jane Barney; brothers, Kenneth and Frank Ostrander; and infant great granddaughter, Isabel Alicia Wheeler.
Mrs. Endsley is survived by her sister, Ruth Welle, Houston, Texas; daughter, Deborah Endsley and her husband, John Wade, Ticonderoga, N.Y.; sons, Stephen Endsley and his wife, Denise, Hoschton, Ga., and Frederick Endsley, Altmar, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren, Scott and Melissa Endsley, Jeffrey Wheeler and his wife, Jamie, Christopher Wheeler and his wife, Ioana, Wendy Wheeler, Andrew, Bryan and Sarah Endsley; four great-grandchildren, Edison, Elizabeth and Alicia Wheeler and Sebastian Wheeler; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A private memorial service will be at a later date.
