Douglas Barre Buchanan, 85, a native of Pennsylvania and resident of Fairhope, passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 at a local hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary R. Buchanan of Fairhope; a daughter, Susan A. Buchanan of Fairhope,AL; two grandchildren, Hillary Whipple and Christopher Serwan; and other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mr. Buchanan’s life was held at the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope.
