F. Louis Duff, 74, a native of Mobile and resident of Spanish Fort, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007.
He was a 1950 graduate of McGill Institute, a devoted member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 2737. He retired after 37 years of service at the Alabama State Docks Railway Terminal
He was preceded in death by a brother, John J. Duff, and sister, Fidelis Haskins.
Survivors include his loving wife, Irene B. Duff of Spanish Fort; two daughters, Cecilia D (Tim) McKenzie of Spanish Fort and Tanya D. (Richard) Boeggeman of Daphne; son, Paul F. (Leigh Ann) Duff of Birmingham; four sisters, Mary Elizabeth Boyes, Lois (Harold) Gibson, Patricia Dumas and Rose Marie (Thomas) Murphy, all of Mobile; and seven grandchildren, Timothy Jr. and Lauren McKenzie, Haleigh, Matthew and Nathan Duff, Corey and Marissa Boeggeman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday Sept. 24 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne. Interment will follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery .
Visitation was held Sunday Sept. 23 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne. The Rosary was recited at 7 p.m.
