Steven “Steve” Frederick Dukes, 58, a native of Fairhope and a resident of Bay Minette, died Thursday, June 12, 2008 at his residence.
He was a self-employed sports writer.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Melvie Dukes.
Survivors include his mother, Allie Mae Dukes of Pine Grove; brother, Johnny Dukes of Pine Grove; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Pine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
