Earl Deane Comstock, 81, passed away peacefully in his home on Sept. 10, 2014.
Earl will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. He will be fondly remembered for his love of gardening, photography and music.
Earl was born March 26, 1933 in Lexington, Ky. to Carolyn Emmaline Johnson and Earl Johnson Comstock.
He attended Foley High School and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in accounting.
After serving honorably in the military, he spent his working life in Huntsville as a certified public accountant.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret McKinney Comstock.
He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Nicholson Echols; son, Robert Edward Nicholson Sr. (Libba); and grandchildren, Robert Edward Nicholson Jr., David Chadwick Nicholson, Elizabeth Smith Melancon (Trey) and Mary Katherine Echols.
The family would like to thank Earl’s caregivers, Sandra Smith and Da’Rell Carson, as well as his many friends who helped in his care.

Plans for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
