Earl Norman Boyington, Sr., age 77, born in Perdido, and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013.
He was a retired machine operator at International Paper Company. He is survived by his children, Danny (Judy) Boyington of Bay Minette, Teddy Boyington of Loxley, Terry Earl (Faye) Boyington of Pensacola, Mary Alice (Murray) Stewart of Bay Minette, Kimberly Thomley of Bay Minette, Rhonda S. (Sloan) Caudle of Tuscaloosa, and Earl Norman (Shelby Thomas) Boyington Jr., of Grand Bay; three brothers, Purvis Boyington of Phillipsville, Johnny Boyington of White House Fork and Haywood Boyington Jr. of Bay Minette; one sister, Ellarine Stewart of Rabun; 17 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart and the Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars –McGill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, Feb.8, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bruce Jackson, Chad Boyington, Dustin Boyington, D.J. Brooks, Adam Thomley and Kyle Boyington. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Thomley and Jake Brannum.
