Hundreds turned out for the 11th annual Easter Eggstravaganza hosted by The Lighthouse of Baldwin County on Friday, March 29 at the pavilion in Robertsdale’s Garrett Park. The annual event kicks off Child Abuse Awareness Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, said Lighthouse Associate Director Rhyon Ervin. In addition to representatives from The Lighthouse, representatives were on hand from the Alabama Marine Police, the Dogwood Trailmaids and the Robertsdale Fire Department. Approximately 15,000 eggs were given out to ages 3 to 12 years old with a kiddle prize area for ages 2 and under operating throughout the event. The event also included cake walks.
