The Eastern Shore Art Center, 401 Oak Ave. in Fairhope, is offering a wide variety of classes for all ages including drawing, painting, sculpture, figure and portrait drawing, ceramics, photography and more.
Children’s classes include painting, drawing, pottery and more. Classes begin the week of Sept. 10, and registration deadline is Sept. 6.
Never tried an art class before? Hodgepodge is an opportunity for wanna-be artists to try several different mediums before deciding which one or ones to pursue.
Discover your creative muse on your lunch hour with The Artist’s Way. This is a brown bag lunch and book discussion group for anyone interested in opening up their creative source, whether you are a visual artist or not.

A delightful time designed to cultivate a love of art and music. The little artists will be encouraged to express themselves in several mediums.
We will make several little masterpieces while learning some basic elements of art. Fun is the focus. Put on some old clothes and a smile and come on in.

Create frameable masterpieces as we explore painting, drawing, printing and other new art techniques.
•Going Crazy with Clay: Tuesdays, 3:30-5 p.m., Sept. 11-Oct. 30, Ages 6 & up
We’re going crazy about clay and making lots of scultures and vessels. Learn where clay comes from and then discover where you can make it go.
Make pinch pots, fish, frog faces, coil pots, leaf dishes and learn the basics of making a pot on the pottery wheel.
