The Eastern Shore Chamber’s Tourism Council has kicked-off a new campaign called “It’s a Shore Thing” designed to express appreciation to the many customers of the Eastern Shore who enjoy Mobile Bay, the excellent cuisine, shopping experience and hometown atmosphere. Advertisements will be strategically placed in publications, on billboards and on stickers for businesses to display that expresses “thanks” to both visitors and local residents who shop locally.

“It is an opportunity for us to show our southern hospitality by letting people know that we appreciate them and encourage them to come visit us, stay, shop and play,” said Darrelyn Bender, president and CEO of the Chamber. “Fall is the best time to kick-off this campaign as the leaves are turning, the sunsets are magnificent and the humidity is low.”
Chamber volunteers will hit the streets to distribute the window stickers that simply say “It’s a Shore Thing ~ Thanks! (y’all is assumed).” Any and every business is encouraged to participate.
