MONTGOMERY – The Baldwin County High School Tigers went up to Montgomery on Thursday and defeated the Robert E. Lee Generals 7-0.

The Tigers (2-1) could only muster 91 yards of offense on the night and turned the ball over four times, but held the Generals to just 112 yards of offense and three turnovers.

Baldwin County’s touchdown came on a one-yard run by quarterback Jordan Ebert after Quinton Butler recovered a Lee fumble on the opening kickoff of the second half at the Generals’ 17-yard-line.

The Generals scored on a 38-yard run in the fourth quarter, but the touchdown was called back because of a penalty.

Two of Lee’s drives started inside the BCHS 40, but the Tigers kept the Generals out of the endzone.

Baldwin County hosts Fairhope on Friday in a Class 6A, Region 2 game.
