Edith Johnson Hudson, 90, born in Bratt, Fla., and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Oakwood Nursing Home. She was a clerk in the mapping department at the Baldwin County Court House, She is survived by two sons, Verdis V. Hudson Jr., Pine Grove, and Mickey C. Hudson, Lillian; one grandson, the Rev. Mikah C. (Missie) Hudson, Birmingham; and three great-granddaughters, Emmalynne C. Hudson, Eleanora Faye Hudson and Miriam Edith Hudson all of Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her husband, V.V. Hudson Sr.; three brothers and five sisters. Services were Saturday, April 14 with the Rev. Jerry Childs officiating. Burial was at Bay Minette Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dickey Quinley, Clarence Roley, Don Roley, Davey Johnson, Timmy Rider and Kenny Johnson.
