Edward John Novak, 93, a native of Chicago and resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of the Fairhope Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Helen Novak of Fairhope; daughter, Linda Novak (Marshall) Smith of Fairhope; grandson, Marty (Emily) Smith of Daphne; twp great-grandchildren, Halle and Max Smith of Daphne; two nieces and one nephew.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, with funeral services at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
