Edward “Ronnie” Thead Sr., 67 a native of Pensacola and resident of Summerdale, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015.
Mr. Thead served in the United States Marine Corps and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Clennie Thead of Summerdale; two daughters, Cindy Wyman of Summerdale and Vanessa (James) Mattingly of Loxley; son, Edward “Ronnie” Thead Jr., of Summerdale; sister, Carol Bilon of Cantonment, Fla.; two brothers, Bob Conway of Summerdale and Maurice Conway of Pensacola; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2015, at 10 a.m., at Mack Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve Spining officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Robertsdale.
A visitation will be held Thursday, from 6-8 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
