Ruth Rhodes Edwards, 85, a longtime resident of Fairhope, diedThursday, July 23, 2009 at a local nursing facility.
She owned and operated the Kut & Kurl Beauty Shop for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Jesse Evans of Silverhill, John (Sandy) Evans of Ten Mile, Tenn., Michael (Marilyn) Evans of Fairhope; brother, Jesse Rhodes of Magnolia Springs; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 26 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. A private interment will be at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
