Edwin Scott “Scotty” Tullos, a native of Montrose and a resident of Huntsville for the last 20 years, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011.
He was one of 12 children born to Stephen and Lula Tullos.
He attended Baldwin County Training School where he excelled in the arts and pursued that career throughout his life, creating many beautiful works of art.
During his lifetime, he was a member of Shrine of Holy Cross Church, as well as Macedonia Baptist Church in Daphne.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Tullos.
Survivors include six brothers, George (Elaine) Tullos Virginia, Stephen Tullos of Montrose, Paul Tullos of Florida, Thomas Tullos of Daphne, David Tullos of Montrose and Rodney Tullos of Daphne; four sisters, Estelle (Freddrick) Hamilton of Carson, Calif., Frances (James) Busby of Victorville, Calif., Rebecca Tullos of Pritchard and Deborah Tullos of Nashville, Tenn.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. Graveside services begin at 2 p.m. at Montrose Cemetery.
