ELBERTA, Ala. — The Elberta Public Works Department has a new way to clear debris. The town recently obtained this CAT mini excavator 305E, which Public Works Director Tim Bragg said will be used to clear rights of way and ditches in the town. The new machine came equipped with a helac power-tilt coupler. Bragg said he researched the purchase for about a year before the Town Council included it in this fiscal year’s budget.
