FOLEY, Ala. - The Elberta Little League Baseball program will host an annual fish fry Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the baseball park in downtown Elberta.

The event will include mullet, hushpupies, baked beans and cole slaw.

Adult dinners are $7 and children are $4 for ages 10 and under. Take outs are available. All proceeds will benefit the little league program.

"We've got 23 teams this year with baseball and softball combined. We always have this event on opening day," Kathy Salzman, board of directors member for the league, said. "Our park is owned by Elberta Little League, Inc. The town does cut the grass and pay the utility bill. Besides that, the equipment and upkeep of the park is on us."

Sponsors for the fundraiser are Wallace Seafood and Wolf Bay Lodge.  Elberta will host Summerdale to kick off the 2011 season on Saturday with games beginning at 9 a.m.
