"font-family:">Mr. Elden “Buddy” Munson, 91, a native and lifelong resident of Lillian, passed away Jan. 18, 2012 in Pensacola.
"font-family:">Mr. Munson was a retired Navy veteran of WWII, a member of Masonic Lodge in Lillian, member of the Hadji Shrine Temple in Pensacola, lifetime member of the VFW Post in Elberta and a member of the Lillian Community Center.
"font-family:">He was preceded in death by his wife, June Dilts Munson; partner and best friend, Lucille Rider; parents, Burt and Florie Munson; sister, Marie Austin; and nephew Kevin Munson.
"font-family:">He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Jim) Andrews of Lillian and Dene (Mike) Valen of Apollo Beach, Fla.; brother, Everettt (Vera) Munson of Elberta; grandchildren, Sherry Andrews Stockwell, Aric (Cindy) Andrews, Edwin Valen and Dustin (Sara) Vaughn; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Bridget Andrews, and Francesca and Jacob Stockwell; nephew, Terry Munson; niece, Carolyn Austin (Richard) VanDamne; great-nephews, Dale and David (Anna) VanDamne; great-nieces, Amanda and Allison; great-great-nephew, Brandon VanDamne; and the extended family of the late Lucille Rider.
