Elizabeth Ann Nix English, 84, a native of Asheville, N.C. and resident of Laceys Spring, Ala., passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015.
Mrs. English called many places home during her life. She lived in North Carolina, Foley and Laceys Spring.
While living in Foley, she resided on Coopers Landing and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Mrs. English was preceded in death by her daughter, Ann Lollar; and grandson, David Snyder.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Eugene English Jr. (Gene) of Laceys Spring; daughter, Susan (Ron) Snyder of Laceys Spring; a son, Charles Eugene English III (Chip) of Mobile; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. English will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015, at 11 a.m., at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley.
Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
