Ella Logan Prince, 85, a native of Mobile and resident of Fairhope, passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011 at a local hospital.
She was retired from the Mobile Housing Board and was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairhope.
Mrs. Prince is survived by her husband, Ernest Denzil Prince, of Mobile; her daughters, Cheryl Stankoski (Daniel), Linda Harris (Joseph) and Judith Hazelton; her grandchildren, Christian Harris, Benjamin Holt, Michael Holt, Robert Stankoski (Victoria), Clark Stankoski (Christina), Kendra Coppoletta (Robert) and Blair Jaye; and by 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her grandson, Tyler Davison Harris.
Also surviving are her stepchildren, Kathy McPherson (Alvin), Lynda Sirmon (Bob), Majure Prince (Janet) and Janet Dupuy; seven stepgrandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren and by many other relatives and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, at Hughes Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11.
