Penny Stringfellow Willene Elledge, 52, a native of Opelika and a resident of Crestview, Fla., died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
She was a truck driver.
Survivors include her husband, Doyle Wayne Elledge of Crestview, Fla.; six children, Jerita (Sam) Cooley of Bay Minette, Shenallia Gay of East Liverpool, Ohio, Larry Deason of Monaca, Pa., Richard Elledge of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Robert Elledge and Heather Elledge, both of Crestview, Fla.; nine grandchildren, Donnie Gay, Wesley Cooley, Jayme Deason, Kelli Cooley, Danny Deason, Autumn Gay, Winter Gay, Haligh Deason and Kendall Elledge; sister, Vicki Rabideau of Monaca, Pa.; brother, Sanford “Bud” Stringfellow of Wadley; and daughter-in-law, Gail Deason of Monaca, Pa.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 9 at the Healing Waters Church with Pastor Richard Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Little Texas Cemetery in Tuskegee.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Daniels, Joey Williams, Mike Hall, Keith Caprara, Chris Perry and Chris Hayles.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Healing Waters Church, 13150 Jaycee Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
