Ellery Doyle Parks Sr., 87, a longtime resident of Bon Secour, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 with his loving family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lucille Parks; brothers, Billy Sr., Vance and Jerry Parks, sister, Edith Nelson; and a grandson, Billy Parks III.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Parks of Bon Secour; children, Billy (Gina) Parks of Pensacola, Doyle (Beth) Parks of Bon Secour, Danny (Tina) Parks of Bon Secour, Dana (Norman) Fowler of Foley, 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley Wednesday, March 11, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held from Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at Miller Cemetery in Gulf Shores.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Open Door Baptist Church, 20744 County Road 12 S., Foley, AL 36535.
