Stuart Moseley Ellis, age 78, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009 with her children by her side.
She was born and raised in Columbia, S.C. She spent her adult life in Mobile.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mobile, and the Junior League of Mobile. She was a true southern lady who was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Gretter Moseley and Stuart Everett Moseley; and a sister, Ann Moseley Lee.
Survivors include two children, Inman Payne (Stephanie) Ellis Jr. of Daphne and Stuart Ellis (Rodney) Holland of Houston; and three grandchildren, Ellis Franklin Holland, Everett McGavock Holland, and Jane Merryman Ellis.
Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with a memorial service at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25 at at St Paul’s Episcopal Church Mobile.
The family requests memorial donations be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Alzheimer’s Foundation of the South or the Arthritis Foundation.
