BAY MINETTE, Ala. – New charges are being brought against an Elsanor ranch owner that he allegedly sexually abused a girl under the age of 16.

Thomas Tucker, 66, of Ronie Foley Road in Robertsdale, was reportedly indicted on Thursday by a Baldwin County grand jury after he was booked Tuesday, Dec. 2, charged with two counts of felony sexual abuse, second degree. According to jail records he has been released on a $40,000 bond.

According to reports, the two-count indictment stems from incidences that occurred within one year after Tucker was booked on similar charges. Tucker is currently under house arrest and cannot have any contact with the victim or anyone under the age of 18.

Tucker was booked in September of 2013 on five felony charges and one misdemeanor charge of sexual abuse, second degree and released two days later on a $40,000 bond.

At the time of a press release issued in September by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, Tucker owned and operated a horse boarding ranch and also conducted riding lessons primarily for juvenile females.

While conducting interviews, BCSO investigators obtained information regarding incidents at the ranch. Investigators obtained and executed a search warrant and found numerous items of evidence, along with enough information to arrest Tucker.

Charges were brought based on the evidence and information obtained from interviews conducted with two of the four victims.

According to reports, as part of the conditions of his bond from the 2013 incident, he was prohibited from attending horse shows, trainings, classes, races, rodeos, trail rides, etc.
