Elsie Henry, age 86, a native of Monroe County and a resident of Loxley, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013.
She was a member of the Stapleton Church of God. A loving mother and homemaker, she is preceded in death by her husband, Aubry D. Henry, daughter, JoAnn Henry and son, Jeff Henry. She is survived by seven daughters, Sarah L. Homan of Stapleton; Annette Dawe of Atmore, Bobbie (Mickey) Lucassen of Fairhope, Pat Henry and Audrey Wallace both of Loxley, Shannon DeVita of Valparaiso, Fla., Shelby Henry of Loxley; son, Chris Henry Sr. of Loxley; 14 grandchildren, 22 great- grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Mack Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley. A visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home. Arrangements by Mack Funeral Home, Robertsdale.
