On Friday, beginning at 3 p.m., Baldwin EMC will host an emergency blood drive for O- (O negative) donors only, at their headquarters office complex in Summerdale. There is currently an urgent need for O negative blood in both Baldwin and Mobile counties. If you have this type blood and are able to donate, please take time to come by the Baldwin EMC office on Alabama 59 in Summerdale on Friday.  Lifesouth Community Blood Centers will be on hand to collect the donations from 3 p.m. for as long as donors are available to give.
