Lauren P. Emerine II, a native of South Hampton Parish Bermuda, died Jan. 20, 2009.
He lived and loved life. He made many life long friends. He was a certified executive chef and enjoyed all facets of cooking and teaching his craft. All who had the opportunity to know him will never forget his passion for music, riding his many bicycles, the ocean and of course food. He was loved and will be missed.
Survivors include his parents, Lauren P. Emerine Sr. and Virginia J. Emerine of Pelham; four siblings, Tina Wilhems of Alabaster, Chris Emerine of Pensacola, Fla., Erica McKinney of Pelham and Jaime Emerine of Hannahan, S.C.; five newphews and one grand niece.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Feb. 21 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Salvation Army.
Arrangements were made by Southern Heritage Funeral Home, Pelham.
