Emile Edward Richard Jr., age 78, a native of New Orleans, La. and resident of Fairhope, Ala., passed away at home of CHF, surrounded by his family, on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016.
Emile was a member of Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis D. Richard; daughters, Bernadette R. MoKry (David) of Taylor, Texas, Angelle R. Sylvester (Todd) of Fairhope and Aimee T. Richard of New Orleans, La.; sons, Michael J. Richard (Annette) of Covington, La. and Matthew J. Richard of Fairhope, Ala.; grandchildren, Stephen (Afton), Mary C. Joe, John Paul, Elizabeth, Marie, Phillip, Jane, Peter and Andrew Sylvester, Joshua Bergeron, Jacob, Bethany, Ethan, Jordan and Jude Richard; great-grandchild, Edith Sylvester; sister, Catherine R. Verdone of Metairie, La.; many other loving relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
