Bobby Joe Emmons Sr., 53, a native of Atmore and a resident of Bay Minette since 1980, died Friday, June 5, 2009 at a Mobile hospital.
He attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Emmons of Bay Minette; two sons, Bobby Joe Emmons Jr. of Bay Minette and Ernie Lee Hall of Atmore; five grandchildren, Bobby Joe Emmons III, Cody Dylon Emmons, Ernie Lee Hall Jr., Tiffany Hall and Jonathan Hall; two sisters, Barbara Harrison and Joyce Evans, both of Atmore; and 26 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 9 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Moyeville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lewis Harville, Tony Stabler, Randy Parkemen, Matt Sprinkle, Tommy Bryars, Ben Enzor and George Singleton.
Arrangements are by Petty Funeral Homes, LLC, Atmore.
