FAIRHOPE, Ala.—Losing employment can bring about feelings of being lost, insecure and scared of an uncertain future. Those who have lost their jobs are not alone. The Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce is holding a seminar to provide the facts and figures of the current employment situation and provide tools, resources and guidance to provide hope and encouragement when embarking on the new employment search.
The seminar is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1 to 3 p.m. at Bryant Bank, and it is free. Presenting the seminar is Jason Johnson, principal of HR Co-Tran, LLC, located in Daphne. Johnson, who holds a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology, has spent his career providing workforce management support, products and services to organizations of all sizes and types. Over the last eight years he has developed an understanding of employer/employee needs. This has translated into many diverse training seminars that include “From Unemployed to Employed — Facts, Figures and Hope” specifically designed to assist individuals in finding employment in a difficult economy.
