On Saturday March 10, Elberta Middle School Band hosted a Guitar Hero Tournament. There were 22 participants in attendance from Alabama and Florida. Band Director Jimmy O'Cain stated, "Everyone seemed to have a great time, look for us do another one in the future."

The winners of the Featherweight Division were Alyssa Williams 2nd place (not pictured) and Darian Hooper in 1st place. In the Heavyweight Division Trevor Lauing placed 1st followed closely by Aaron Murdock in 2nd place. Myles Reecer was awarded as judges favorite.

The Elberta Band would like thank Action Game and Movie and Aaron's Rental for Sponsoring this event. Without their help this would not have been possible.
