FAIRHOPE, Ala. — The Eastern Shore Art Center, 401 Oak St. in Fairhope, will debut new exhibits this week during First Friday ArtWalk on Nov. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The exhibits are:
•Iron Bowl Art Exhibition, Auburn University vs. University of Alabama (through Nov. 28).
Artwork from students young, and not as young, who attended either the University of Alabama or Auburn University. It is truly a face-off of talent representing the art departments of two rival schools.
Among the artists are Pat D’Olive, University of Alabama; Donna R. Och, University of Alabama at Birmingham; Joyce Shields, Auburn University; and Barbara Corte, Auburn University.
•Profession and Passion (through Nov. 28).
Artwork by local college art teachers. The schools represented are Bishop State Community College, Faulkner State Community College, Spring Hill College, the University of Mobile and the University of South Alabama.
•Shared Inspiration (through Dec. 23).
