On behalf of the Eastern Shore Art Association, I would like to thank everyone who made our 26th Annual Grand Festival of Art by the Bay such a success.

Very special thanks go to our show chairmen Gwynn Peterson and Mary Jane Owen and to Mary Hodgkins, who worked on publicity and provided a homemade breakfast both days to our participating artists. Thanks also to all the employees of the city of Fairhope, who made the show possible, especially Jennifer Fidler and the Public Works Department. Thanks to our other volunteers who manned the front desk, helped artists throughout the show and carried out all the details that make this annual event happen. I would also like to thank my staff at the Eastern Shore Art Center who stayed late, worked all weekend and helped to make all the visiting artists feel welcome. And we do love our artists; we couldn’t do it without you, and we hope to see you all back in Fairhope next year.

All proceeds from this show and our show in March benefit the Art Center and all of our projects throughout the year. Thanks to this community that is so generous in its support of the arts that makes it possible for us to continue to grow. Just wait ‘til you see what we have in store for 2008!
