FAIRHOPE, Ala. — The Eastern Shore Art Center, 401 Oak St. in Fairhope, is holding a reception honoring Honor Flight South Alabama on July 18, from 3 to 5 pm.

This event is in conjunction with the current “A Call To Service: War Posters from the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art” exhibit.

Honor Flight South Alabama is a nonprofit organization created solely to honor our World War II veterans.

Honor Flight provides an all-expenses-paid, one-day trip to Washington D.C. for these heroes to visit the memorials built in their honor.

Refreshments and live ‘40s music will be provided by Paula Broadwater, a local cabaret singer.

Admission is free. All donations given during the reception will directly benefit the Honor Flight South Alabama program.
