FAIRHOPE, Ala. — The Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope is gearing up for winter with a full line-up of art classes for adults and children.

All mediums are represented, including watercolor, pen and ink drawing, pastels, acrylic painting, oil painting, pottery and sculpture.

For those who are interested in shorter time commitments, there are many opportunities for one- to three-day workshops.

The Art Center has just finished renovating the sculpture studio, and there will be two classes offered by two award-winning sculptors: Sam Nettles, featured in the National Sculpture Review, and Fran Neumann, specializing in figurative bronzes for public art.

Her most recent installation is the sculpture of “Daphne” in front of Daphne City Hall.

The entire Winter Schedule is on the Art Center’s Web site, www.esartcenter.com, or by calling (251) 928-2228.
