LOXLEY, Alabama — Officials continue to search for an inmate who failed to report back to the Loxley Work Release Center last week.
Sgt. Charles R. Arthur reported Friday that inmate Jeffrey Scott, 35, checked out of the Work Release Center for an assigned job at approximately 4 a.m. on Thursday. He was reported missing after failing to report back at approximately 10 p.m. Thursday.
Scott was sentenced in Houston County in 2002 after being convicted on charges of trafficking amphetamines.
He is described as a white male, 5-foot, 10-inches, 192 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has numerous tattoos including a tattoo sleeve on his left arm.
