Ethel Lynn Rowan Selman, 80, a native of Collinsville, and a resident of Daphne, died Sunday, March 11, 2012. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Fairhope. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Frank Leonard Selman; daughter-in-law, Sherry Camden Selman and her parents John Thomas and Sarronah Elizabeth Rowan. She is survived by her sons, Frank Bingham “Bing” Selman, Indianapolis, Ind.; Robert “Bob” (Sherry) Selman, Daphne; Roger Lynn Selman, Newport, N.C.; Philip Lowe (Glenda) Selman of Gadsden; Samuel Keith (Monica) Selman, Laredo,, Texas; daughters, Spring Ander (Gordon) Lindell, Daphne; Sarrona Bell (Brian) Wilson, Spanish Fort; sisters, Jean West of Birmingham, Shirley Brown, New Broughton; brothers, Charlie L. Rowan, Collinsville, Thomas E. Rowan, Morrow, Ga.; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be March 14 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Home in Fairhope. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens, Daphne.
