Eulala Harrison Bauer

Eulala Harrison Bauer, 95, of Forsyth, Ga., died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Heritage Health Care of Forsyth.

She was born in Foss, Okla., to Robert Edward Harrison and Ida Avera Harrison. As a child she moved to Summerdale where she lived and farmed most of her life. She was a homemaker, a gifted cook and an active member of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Smarr, Ga., and she was active in Summerdale First United Methodist Church. She was also an active member of Baldwin County Cattlemen's Association.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Ann Eulala Bauer of Forsyth, Ga.; grandchildren, Heidi H. (Ben) Brewton of Augusta, Ga., Neil (Mary) Hightower Jr. and John (Juliette) Hightower, both of Thomaston, Ga., Harrison (Kristin) Bauer of Athens and Lee Ann Bauer of Panama City, Fla.; 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Conrad Bauer; and a son, Larry Lamar Bauer.

Visitation begins at 2 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. Friday, March 15 from the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in Thomaston, Ga., with the Rev. Herb Flanders officiating.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the First United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 707, Thomaston, GA 30286.
