The runners of the week for Baldwin County are Fairhope freshman Hannah Evans and Spanish Fort senior Trevor Stevens.

Both were the fastest Baldwin County runners in the Foley Invitational last week. Evans finished seventh overall in the girls race and Stevens finished eighth for the boys.

"Foley did a great job with the races,” Fairhope cross country coach Tim Yahr said. “McGill has a fast top five and plenty of people following to keep that top five moving along to hold their team positions."

McGill-Toolen, St. Paul’s and Spanish Fort finished first, second and third in both boys and girls races. Evans was the only Baldwin County girl to finish in the top 10, while Stevens was joined by Spanish Fort teammate Brett Hanke, who finished eleventh in the boys race.
