Evelyn Frampton Driskell, 92, died Friday, July 15, 2011.
She will be greatly missed by her family and her church family, First Baptist Church of Loxley. She was a special lady and a great mom who touched lives everywhere. There were no strangers in her life. She stepped into eternity holding to the promise of Jesus, her Lord and Saviour.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie; son, Larry; and granddaughter, Daphne Calhoun.
Survivors include two sons, Donald (Darlice) Driskell of Loxley and Dennis (Sharon) Driskell of Geneva, Fla.; daughter, Amy (John) Byers of Boyington Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday, July 18 at the Loxley First Baptist Church with Rev. Bo Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church of Loxley, P.O. Box 411, Loxley, AL 36551, or Covenant Hospice, 1040 Stanton Road Suite D, Daphne, AL 36526.
