Evie Claire Candler Gagner, 89, born in Arcadia, La. and a resident of Stockton, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2014 at Oakwood Nursing Home.
She was an operator (retired) for AT&T.
She is survived by a son, Rusty Gagner of Stockton; and two grandchildren, James “JR” Gagner of Bay Minette and Barbara Claire Gagner of Altamonte Springs, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Gagner Sr.; and her daughter, Candler Kay “Candy” Gagner.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at 3 p.m., at Stockton Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Stockton Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, from 1 p.m. until the service.
