DAPHNE, Ala. — Glenn Frazier, a prisoner of war during World War II, will speak and give a book-signing at the city’s next Coffee with the Mayor, to be held next Thursday, Nov. 29, 8:30 a.m., at the Daphne Public Library.

Frazier spent three and a half years in captivity and survived the Bataan Death March that lasted six days and seven nights with no food and only sips of water.

Coffee with the Mayor is a monthly series of meetings that provide the residents a casual forum for discussing issues with county and city officials.
